For the third consecutive year, Credico has been awarded AVBOB’s “Top Performing Broker with Highest Issued Business”. Credico received this prestigious award at AVBOB’s Bollywood-themed Annual Insurance Gala, held on 10 September 2026 at the Olive Conference Centre in Durban North.

Credico's Exco & Manco team had an amazing two-day breakaway at Kloofzicht Lodge and Spa, focused on understanding ourselves and the team dynamics through a thorough DISC assessment.

Strategising. Communicating. Learning. Planning.

The breakaway built on the success of the past six months and put measures in place to further grow the business as we head into the second half of the year.

Laughter, excitement and festive cheer filled the Indaba Hotel as more than 380 people, including Credico employees and their families, came together for one of the most anticipated annual traditions — Christmas in July 2026. Inspired by this year's Credico Kingdom theme, the venue was transformed into a magical wonderland where castles, princesses and royal trumpets welcomed guests to a day of family fun, adventure and celebration — from face painting, storytelling and the Mad Hatter's tea tent to treasure hunts, giant lawn games, putt-putt and a hunt for hidden Royal Keys.

The First Royal Trumpet announced Santa Claus' grand arrival, escorted by two princesses through Wonderland to the Christmas tree, where gifts, laughter and lasting memories were shared. Following the Royal Feast, CEO Peter van den Berg made his royal entrance along the blue carpet, reminding guests that a kingdom is not built by buildings, titles or targets — but by people, trust, kindness, teamwork and families.

The afternoon celebrated Credico's remarkable growth — from 52 employees in 2021 to 160 in 2026, a 200% increase in five years — and welcomed 37 new employees along with nine promotions. With the business tracking well to its annual target, the announcement that employee bonuses will again be paid in August drew enthusiastic applause. Ryan Naicker and Senzo Mkhize were honoured for five years of dedicated service, and the day closed with the Royal Family Passport and Royal Keys prize draws — with every family receiving a gift in true Credico tradition. Long live the Credico Kingdom.

Credico South Africa recently hosted it's Wellness Day, reinforcing the company’s commitment to building a workplace culture that values both performance and personal wellbeing.

The initiative encouraged employees to prioritise mental and physical health, highlighting the importance of balance, self-care, and sustainable energy in achieving long-term success.

The Credico South Africa Awards event was held at the iconic Sun City Resort, bringing together the top performers from across South Africa alongside guests from the UK and USA. The programme kicked off with a sophisticated Owners Dinner at The Palace Pool area — lush, tropical and alive with purposeful conversation — setting the tone for two remarkable days ahead.

Monday featured a full-day Owners Conference, with owners sharing talks and valuable knowledge. While the conference ran, clients teed off at the prestigious Lost City Golf Course — famous for its 13th hole with live crocodiles in the water hazard — while others enjoyed a lively afternoon of padel. The evening brought everyone together at The Shebeen, an authentically South African venue blending traditional character with a festive, connected atmosphere.

The highlight was the main event: The Awards Ceremony in the elegant King's Ballroom. CEO Peter van den Berg welcomed guests and spoke about the incredible growth achieved through the partnerships in the room. The evening featured inspiring speeches, recognition of outstanding contributions, and a fitting climax as Grace Motshele was crowned Owner of the Year to thunderous applause and a confetti cannon. The after-party in the vibrant Superbowl, themed Afro Chic, brought the celebration to life with performances by Bed&Breakfast, DJ Murda and DJ Sosha.

The first Top Ten for 2026 was held on 26th February at the prestigious One & Only Cape Town — a luxurious urban resort set on its own private island in the V&A Waterfront Marina with breathtaking views of Table Mountain. After checking in, the group enjoyed a delicious lunch together, with some taking time to relax at the expansive infinity pool and others exploring the nearby V&A Waterfront.

The evening took the group to Madam Zingara, one of Cape Town's most iconic and theatrical dining experiences — a magical blend of circus, cabaret and fine dining under a glamourous Spiegel tent. The show was playful, bold and immersive, with vibrant entertainment, beautifully curated cuisine, and servers who danced, joked and became part of the spectacle. It was truly a night of escapism, glamour and unforgettable fun. Upon returning to the hotel, each achiever was gifted with a Samsonite luggage piece — a fitting reward for these movers and shakers.

The evening featured a refined dinner at Grub & Vine on Bree Street, where creative courses were paired with excellent wines in a warm, intimate setting. Each achiever was gifted a Bialetti × Dolce & Gabbana Coffee Press as a reminder of their success.

Credico SA celebrated a record-breaking 2025 at Monte Casino's La Toscana with the "Got Talent" year-end function. Staff showcased singing, dance and special performances, with "The Legends" winning for their magnificent Kwaito vs Hip Hop vs Amapiano tribute.

CEO Peter van den Berg announced that Credico has achieved Level 1 B-BBEE status — the highest level of compliance. The business has grown to 128 staff nationwide. Marilyn Chauke was crowned 2025 Employee of the Year, receiving R80,000 in recognition of her exceptional dedication.

The evening featured live music by Bed&Breakfast and sets from DJ Dino Bravo and DJ Sosha, with staff partying into the early hours.

The August Top 10 retreated to the five-star Twelve Apostles Hotel in Cape Town, perched between the dramatic mountain range and the Atlantic Ocean. In the hotel's Leopard Lounge, the group enjoyed a gin and canapé tasting experience before crafting their own signature gin blends.

Dinner at the award-winning Azure Restaurant was a fusion of international flair and Cape flavours. Each achiever received a personalised Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue fragrance with their name engraved on the bottle. The trip concluded with a scenic morning hike through Table Mountain National Park.

Credico SA's annual Christmas in July brought together over 350 staff and their families at the Indaba Hotel, transformed into a spectacular circus — "The Greatest Showdown." For many children, it was their first time on an aeroplane, making the trip extra special.

The day featured carnival games, a mechanical bull, magic shows, treasure hunts, and a performance by The Cirk, who enchanted the audience with songs, dance, humour, and jaw-dropping acrobatics. Santa made his traditional appearance, with every child receiving gifts and every family getting a R500 Takealot voucher.

CEO Peter van den Berg shared mid-year results — 15 new staff, 11 promotions, and long service awards up to 15 years for Nazeerah Solomons, Agnes Madlala, and Pontso Mashegoane.

Credico's top 10 Business Owners kicked off their reward trip with a hands-on Mexican cooking experience at The Cookery Social in Craighall, guided by a passionate chef through tacos, nachos, chilli con carne, and churros.

The group then checked into the elegant Athol Place Hotel & Villa in leafy Atholl, Sandton, enjoying refined dining and luxurious duck-down bedding. The highlight was an exclusive private shopping session at Freequency Footwear in Melrose Arch, choosing from premium European-imported shoes from Italy, Spain, France, and Portugal.
